On this programme you can get to try different aspects of Engineering to help you decide which direction you may want to follow as a career!

The course features topics such as:

  • Introduction to Electrical Installation

  • Introduction to Engineering Maintenance

  • Introduction to Welding and Fabrication

  • Introduction to Computer Aided Drawing

  • CV writing and Interview preparation

Entry Requirements

  • GCSE grades at a suitable level.

  • A satisfactory interview.

  • Initial assessment of Maths and English skills.


Course Cost

The course fee is based on the age of the student at 31 August in the year they begin their study.

This course is fully funded for

  • All students aged 16, 17 and 18 

  • Learners, aged 19 to 23, without a full level 2 qualification

Full time; 3 days per week, Monday to Friday
